Our Story
A Family Tradition Since 2012
How It All Began
From Tuscany to Temecula
When Marco Rossi was seven years old, his grandmother pressed his small hands into a mound of pasta dough and whispered, “This is our family’s secret — put love into everything you make.” Forty years later, that lesson still guides every dish that leaves Bella’s kitchen.
Born in Lucca, in the heart of Tuscany, Marco grew up surrounded by the aromas of slow-simmered ragùs, wood-fired breads, and the sweet perfume of freshly pulled tiramisu. He trained under celebrated chef Riccardo Mancini in Florence before immigrating to California in 2005.
In 2012, Marco and his wife Elena — a pastry chef from Naples — founded Bella’s Italian Kitchen with a clear vision: to bring the soul of Italian cooking to Temecula. They chose the name in honor of their daughter Isabella, who still comes in every Sunday to make fresh pasta.
Over a decade later, Bella’s has become a beloved gathering place for families, couples, and food lovers from across the Temecula Valley. The food has never changed — only the family has grown.
